Terms of Service

01Acceptance of terms

EasyAnk is a service operated by EasyAnk Infotech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (“EasyAnk”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using EasyAnk (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are registering on behalf of a business, CA firm, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

02Description of service

EasyAnk is a tax and compliance workspace for accounting professionals and businesses. The Service includes billing, Tally-synced accounting, audit workspace tools, and related compliance reporting features, made available to your account based on the modules you select.

03Account registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including a valid email address and mobile number for verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

04Confidentiality of client data

Your books remain yours. CA firms and business users may upload or synchronize data belonging to their own clients, including PAN, GSTIN, Udyam details, financial statements, ledgers and transaction records (“Client Data”). You retain full ownership of Client Data at all times. EasyAnk Infotech Private Limited acts solely as a data processor and holds it in confidence.

We recognise that Chartered Accountants owe their own clients a professional duty of confidentiality. Accordingly, we commit that:

• We will not access Client Data except where strictly necessary to operate the Service, to investigate a fault you have reported, or where compelled by law. Such access is limited to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis and is logged.
• We will not sell, rent, licence or share Client Data with any third party, and we will not use it to market any product to you or to the businesses whose books you audit.
• We will not use Client Data to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, nor pool it into any shared or anonymised dataset offered to other customers.
• Personnel and contractors with any possibility of access are bound by written confidentiality obligations that survive the end of their engagement.
• Client Data is encrypted in transit. The EasyAnk desktop connector reads only the companies you explicitly approve, and syncs nothing before that approval is given.
• On closure of your account you may export your data, after which we will delete it within ninety (90) days, save where retention is required by law.
• If we become aware of any unauthorised access to Client Data, we will notify you without undue delay and share what we know about the scope and our response.

These obligations are in addition to, and do not limit, the protections set out in our Privacy Policy.

05Tally and third-party integrations

Where you connect a Tally instance or other third-party accounting system, you authorize EasyAnk to read and synchronize the ledger, voucher, and company data required to power the Accounting module. You are responsible for the accuracy of the source data being synced and for maintaining any credentials required by the third-party system.

06Fees and payment

Module access may be subject to subscription fees as communicated at the time of purchase. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with prior notice to active subscribers.

07Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to store or process data you do not have the legal right to hold, to reverse-engineer the platform, or to interfere with its normal operation. Accounts found to violate this section may be suspended or terminated.

08Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days before it is deleted from our systems.

09Disclaimers and limitation of liability

EasyAnk is a compliance workflow tool, not a substitute for professional tax or legal advice. Filing accuracy remains the responsibility of the preparing professional or business. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasyAnk is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
